Nestle India Apr-Jun net profit falls almost 12 per cent on year to INR 6.59 bln

MUMBAI - Nestle India Ltd.'s net profit for the June quarter was INR 6.59 billion, down 11.8% from INR 7.47 billion a year ago. Analysts had expected the fast-moving consumer goods major to post a net profit of INR 7.40 billion. On the other hand, revenue for the quarter was almost 6% higher at INR 50.96 billion compared with INR 48.14 billion a year ago.
