MCX opened at 1015 IST Wed due to technical glitch, says exchange

MUMBAI – Trading on Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. started at 1015 IST on Wednesday due to a "delay in clearing technical processes and file sharing," the exchange clarified in a release on Wednesday.
Earlier during the day, trading on the exchange had halted. While the exchange said the trading started at 1015 IST, silver prices on the exchange opened at a new all-time high of INR 116,275 per kilogram at 0900 IST and the trade stopped at 0902 IST, according to time and sales data available on Cogencis terminal. On Wednesday, shares of MCX closed 1.3% higher at INR 8,261.50 on the National Stock Exchange. End
