Maruti Suzuki raises prices of multi-purpose vehicle XL6 on airbag addition

--Maruti Suzuki: XL6 prices to rise up to 0.8% on introduction of 6 airbags
NEW DELHI – Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. Wednesday said it has increased the ex-showroom prices of its multi-purpose vehicle XL6 by up to 0.8% after the introduction of six airbags. The price change is effective Wednesday, it said in an exchange filing. Last week, the company had raised the prices of its hatchback Baleno by 0.5% and multi-purpose vehicle Ertiga by 1.4% for the same reason.
For the March quarter, Maruti Suzuki had reported a net profit of INR 37.11 billion on a revenue of INR 406.74 billion. Wednesday, shares of the company ended at INR 12,627 on the National Stock Exchange, up 1.1%. End
