NEW DELHI – The government disbursed INR 191.58 billion in 2024-25 (Apr-Mar) from the Financial Inclusion Fund, which provides support to banks to expand financial services in underserved areas, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary said Monday. The disbursement in FY25 was slightly lower than the INR 192.59 billion given in FY24.
Since FY21, the government has disbursed INR 832.10 billion under the fund to deepen financial inclusion in the country.
