Microfinance Industry Network appoints Vineet Chattree as chairperson

NEW DELHI – The Microfinance Industry Network appointed Vineet Chattree as chairperson and Dibyajyoti Pattanaik as vice chairperson of the board on Friday. Chattree is currently serving as the managing director at Svatantra Microfin Private Ltd., while Pattanaik is director at Annapurna Microfinance Pvt Ltd.
The Microfinance Industry Network also appointed three new members to its governing board--Baskar Babu Ramachandran, managing director and chief executive officer at Suryoday Small Finance Bank, Krishnadas B. Nair, executive vice president and business head - microfinance at Axis Bank, and Gyan Mohan, director and chief executive officer at Adi Chitragupta Finance, who joins as the small non-banking finance company-microfinance institution representative.

Microfinance Industry Network is an industry association which represents entities regulated by the Reserve Bank of India, comprising non-banking finance company-microfinance institution, banks, small finance banks, and non-banking finance companies and central bank recognized self-regulatory organization.
