SEBI promotes Kadam to executive director post from chief general manager

NEW DELHI – The Securities and Exchange Board of India has promoted chief general manager Sunil Kadam to the post of executive director, according to a press release issued Tuesday. Kadam took charge of his new post in SEBI Tuesday, the market regulator said.
As an executive director, Kadam will be in charge of information technology department, office of investor assistance and education, economic and policy analysis department, and five other sections. Kadam joined SEBI in 1995 and served in various departments including market regulation, surveillance, investigations, corporation finance, and others, according to SEBI's press release. End
