UltraTech Cement commissions second cement grinding mill at Maihar in MP

NEW DELHI – UltraTech Cement Ltd. Thursday said it has commissioned a second cement grinding mill at its factory in Maihar, Madhya Pradesh, as part of the ongoing expansion. The second mill has an annual capacity of 1.8 million tonnes, the company said in a stock exchange filing. The first cement grinding mill at Maihar started production in March.
Following the latest commissioning, UltraTech Cement has a consolidated domestic grey cement capacity of 186.86 million tonnes per annum, the company said. In addition, the company has an overseas capacity of 5.4 million tonnes per annum.
On Thursday, shares of UltraTech Cement closed almost 2% higher at INR 11,951 on the National Stock Exchange. End
