--AU Small Fin Bk board to Sat mull annual fund-raise plan 

 

NEW DELHI – The board of AU Small Finance Bank will meet Saturday to consider and approve the annual fundraising plan, the bank said in an exchange filing Wednesday. The board will consider raising funds through both equity and debt instruments, AU Small Finance Bank said.

 

The bank's board will consider raising funds through the "issue of equity shares through private placement or qualified institutions placement (QIP) or preferential allotment or through a combination thereof or any other alternative mode, as may be considered appropriate, subject to shareholders approval and government/regulatory/ statutory approvals, and requirements, as applicable", the bank said. The board will also consider issuing debt instruments such as bonds and non-convertible debentures. 

 

AU Small Finance Bank reported a net profit of INR 5.04 billion for the March quarter, up 36% on year. Shares of the bank Wednesday ended 0.8% higher at INR 807.05 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
