SEBI issues draft circular on changes to FAQs on research analyst norms

NEW DELHI – The Securities and Exchange Board of India Monday issued a draft circular on frequently asked questions related to regulatory provisions for research analysts. SEBI has proposed changes to the existing list of frequently asked questions to include additional questions that reflect recent circulars and changes to the regulations governing research analysts.
SEBI said in the draft circular that persons associated with research services will have to obtain relevant certification within one year. The markets regulator has sought public comments on the draft circular by Jun. 30. End
