--Govt source: Cabinet may approve INR-36-bln highway project in Nellore
NEW DELHI – The Union Cabinet on Wednesday may approve a highway project with an estimated outlay of over INR 36 billion in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, a government source said. The Cabinet is scheduled to hold a meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 1100 IST in New Delhi.
According to the source, the 108-kilometre highway project in Nellore is listed on the Cabinet's agenda for Wednesday.
The Cabinet may also approve the extension of the Modified Interest Subvention Scheme for 2025-26 (Apr-Mar), the source said, adding that it may also approve the enhancement of loan limit under the Kisan Credit Card Scheme to INR 500,000 from INR 300,000, as announced in the Budget. End
