CPI-AL inflation falls to 41-month low of 3.48% in Apr

NEW DELHI – India's annual inflation based on CPI for agricultural labourers fell to a 41-month low of 3.48% in April from 3.73% in March, according to data released by the labour ministry Tuesday.
CPI-Agricultural Labourers inflation was 7.03% in April 2024. The overall index for agricultural labourers in April rose to 1307 from 1306 in March.
The inflation based on CPI for rural labourers also fell to a 41-month low of 3.53% in April from 3.86% in March and 6.96% a year ago. The index rose to 1320 in April from 1319 the previous month.
