India briefs defence attaches of 70 nations on success of Operation Sindoor

NEW DELHI – The Ministry of Defence on Tuesday briefed the Foreign Service attaches of 70 nations on the success of Operation Sindoor, highlighting Technological Superiority of Indian Armed Forces in niche non-kinetic domains of space, cyber and electronic warfare.
Director General Defence Intelligence Agency Lieutenant General D.S. Rana briefed the defence attaches that Operation Sindoor has set a new normal in India-Pakistan relations, highlighting India's demonstrated strength and national resolve through military superiority in the new-age warfare, the Integrated Defence Staff, a wing of the Ministry of Defence shared of on social media handle X.
Defence attache is a member of a country's armed forces who serves in a diplomatic mission to represent their country's defence establishment abroad.
"Rana elaborated on deliberate planning process for selection of targets with confirmed terror linkages. The integrated, precise and prompt response by Indian Armed Forces to achieve the stated objectives, executed through intense multi-domain operations was also highlighted," Integrated Defence Staff said.
Lieutenant General Rana also placed a credible record of the relentless anti-India misinformation campaign conducted by Pakistan and its ramifications on regional peace and stability.
India on Wednesday launched Operation Sindoor in retaliation of the terrorist attack in South Kashmir's Pahalgam last month. Indian Armed Forces struck the terrorist camps at nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir and said to have killed over 100 terrorists.
Following the Indian strikes, Pakistan resorted to artillery shelling along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir and also launched drone attacks at multiple civilian as well as military locations in Gujarat, Punjab, Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir. After over three days of hostilities, both the countries arrived at an understanding to stop firing and military actions on Saturday. However, Pakistan drones were spotted at multiple locations in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab despite Islamabad agreeing to stop firing. End
