MUMBAI - Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. reported a consolidated net profit of INR 4.12 billion for the quarter ended March against a loss of INR 18.9 billion a year ago. However, the net profit was lower than analysts' estimate of INR 4.85 billion. Consolidated sales for the quarter was INR 35.98 billion, higher than INR 33.86 billion a year ago.
