--IOC cuts 19-kg LPG cylinder price by INR 14.50 in Delhi to INR 1,747.50
MUMBAI - Indian Oil Corp. Ltd. has reduced the price of a 19-kilogram liquefied petroleum gas cylinder sold under the 'Indane' brand in Delhi to INR 1,747.50 from INR 1,762. The country's largest fuel retailer has cut the price of the cylinder in Mumbai to INR 1,699.00 from INR 1,713.50. These rates are applicable from Thursday, the company said.
The price of the 19-kg LPG cylinder in Kolkata has been reduced to INR 1,851.50 from INR 1,868.50. The company has also cut the cylinder's price in Chennai to INR 1,906.00 from INR 1,921.50. The company has, however, kept the prices of non-subsidised 14.2-kg LPG cylinders in these four cities unchanged, with the price in Delhi at INR 853, which was last changed on Apr. 8.
For the March quarter, Indian Oil reported a net profit of INR 72.65 billion on revenues of INR 2.177 trillion. On Wednesday, shares of the company closed at INR 137.86 on the National Stock Exchange, up 1.5%. End
