--IOC cuts ATF price by INR 3,954.38/kl to INR 85,486.80/kl in Delhi
MUMBAI - Indian Oil Corp. Ltd. has reduced the price of aviation turbine fuel to INR 85,486.80 per kilolitre in Delhi, as per information on the website of the country's largest fuel retailer. In April, aviation turbine fuel was priced at INR 89,441.18 per kilolitre. This marks a reduction of INR 3,954.38 per kilolitre.
In Mumbai, aviation turbine fuel is currently priced at INR 79,855.59 per kilolitre. In the previous month, it was INR 83,575.42 per kilolitre. In Kolkata, jet fuel is now priced at INR 88,237.05 per kilitre, and at INR 88,494.52 in Chennai. The fuel retailer said these prices are applicable from Thursday.
Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd. and Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd., the other two public sector fuel retailers, usually follow IOC in fuel price revisions.
For the March quarter, Indian Oil reported a net profit of INR 72.65 billion on revenues of INR 2.177 trillion. On Wednesday, shares of IOC closed at INR 137.86 on the National Stock Exchange, up 1.5%. End
