MUMBAI - Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. suffered a net loss of INR 3.39 billion on a consolidated basis in Jan-Mar, against a net profit of INR 9.35 billion in the year-ago quarter. Analysts had expected the company to post a consolidated net profit of INR 9.75 billion. Consolidated revenue for the quarter was lower at INR 131.83 billion from INR 134.87 billion a year ago.
