CPI-AL inflation falls to 40-month low of 3.73% in March

NEW DELHI – India's annual inflation based on CPI for agricultural labourers fell to a 40-month low of 3.73% in March from 4.05% in February, according to data released by the labour ministry Wednesday.
CPI-Agricultural Labourers inflation was 7.15% in March 2024. The overall index for agricultural labourers in March declined to 1306 from 1309 in February.
The inflation based on CPI for rural labourers also fell to a 40-month low of 3.86% in March from 4.10% in February and 7.08% a year ago. The index fell 2 basis points on month to 1319 in March.
