BPCL Jan-Mar net profit falls 24% on year to INR 32.14 bln

MUMBAI – Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd.'s net profit for the quarter ended March fell almost 24% year on year to INR 32.14 billion but was higher than analysts' consensus estimate of INR 26.60 billion. The state-owned company's revenue for the quarter was INR 1.269 trillion, down nearly 4% from INR 1.321 trillion a year ago.
