Trent Jan-Mar net profit falls 46.5% on year to INR 3.50 bln

MUMBAI - Trent Ltd.'s net profit for the March quarter fell 46.5% to INR 3.50 billion from INR 6.54 billion a year ago. However, the net profit was nearly 3% higher than analysts' consensus estimate of INR 3.40 billion. The company's revenue for the quarter was INR 41.06 billion, up almost 29% from INR 31.87 billion a year ago.
