Nestle India Jan-Mar net profit falls 5.2% on year to INR 8.85 billion

MUMBAI - Nestle India Ltd.'s net profit for Jan-Mar was INR 8.85 billion, down 5.2% from INR 9.34 billion a year ago but marginally higher than analysts' expectations of INR 8.70 billion. The fast-moving consumer goods major's revenue for the quarter was INR 55.04 billion, up 4.5% from INR 52.68 billion a year ago.
