NPCI facing UPI outage complaints; system still under evaluation - official

MUMBAI – The National Payments Corp. of India has faced over 1,000 complaints of an outage in the Unified Payments Interface on Saturday, a spokesperson for the organisation said. The payments company is still evaluating the complaints and whether there is system-wide issue, the official said.
Media outlets have reported that users are facing issues in transactions over UPI. This disruption reportedly extends to popular providers, including PhonePe, GooglePay and Paytm. End
