EPFO claim settlement jumps 32% YoY to INR 2.41 tln in FY25

NEW DELHI – The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation settled 60.1 million claims in 2024-25 (Apr-Mar), 35% higher than in the previous year. The total amount settled by EFPO in FY25 was INR 2.41 trillion, up 32% on year, Minister of State for Labour and Employment Shobha Karandlaje said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
The number of auto claims settled in FY25 was 23.4 million, 2.6 times higher than in FY24, Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said in a separate post on X. The total amount disbursed via the auto claim settlement mechanism was INR 328.48 billion, also 2.6 times higher than in FY24.
"These strategic initiatives have yielded substantial growth in both the volume of member claims processed and the total settlement amount, reflecting enhanced service delivery and improved member experience," Karandlaje said. End
