Probe report on Hero MotoCorp, Salt Experiences being examined, says govt

NEW DELHI – The Ministry of Corporate Affairs Monday said an investigation report into the affairs of Salt Experiences and Management Pvt. Ltd. and Hero MotoCorp Ltd. is currently under examination. The ministry referred to recent reports claiming that it had not found breach of corporate governance or fund diversion in its investigation into the matter, and said that a final conclusion cannot be drawn in the matter at this stage.
A media report, quoting unnamed sources, Monday said the investigation did not find violation of corporate governance norms and fund diversion. According to the statement by the ministry, an investigation was ordered into the affairs of the two companies in June 2023. The investigation was carried out by the northern region director and a report was submitted to the government.
On Monday, shares of Hero MotoCorp ended 2% down at INR 3,582.85 on the National Stock Exchange of India. End
