--Govt invites applications for post of IRDAI chairperson by Apr 6
MUMBAI – The government has invited applications for the post of chairperson in the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India, ahead of the incumbent IRDAI Chairperson Debashish Panda's tenure coming to end on Mar. 13, the insurance regulator said in a release on its website Monday.
The release said that candidates must have at least 30 years of relevant work experience and have worked as secretary to the government or its equivalent level in central government, state government or other institutions. Applicants from private sector should have worked as chief executive officer or equivalent of a large financial institution. The consolidated pay and allowances of the chairperson would be INR 562,500 per month.
The applicant should also have minimum of two years of residual service as on Mar. 14. The last date for applications is Apr. 6. End
