NEW DELHI – Arunachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh have announced the dates for when they will present their respective state Budgets for 2025-26 (Apr-Mar). Arunchal Pradesh will present its Budget on Monday, along with Assam and Maharashtra. 

 

The Madhya Pradesh government will present the state Budget on Wednesday, while Haryana will do the same on Mar. 17, along with Himachal Pradesh. Tamil Nadu is scheduled to present its Budget on Mar. 14. 

 

Several states have detailed their Budgets already, including Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat. Karnataka presented its Budget on Friday. 

 

Arunachal Pradesh's government has targetted a fiscal deficit of 6.3% of gross state domestic product for FY25. The revised fiscal deficit estimate for FY24 was 7.8% of GSDP. Haryana's fiscal deficit for FY25 was pegged at 2.8% of GSDP, the same as FY24's revised estimate. Madhya Pradesh's fiscal deficit for FY25 is targeted at 4.1% of GSDP.  End
