--RBI: Agency banks' branches dealing with govt business to stay open Mar 31
MUMBAI – The Reserve Bank of India has advised banks to keep their branches dealing with government business open on Mar. 31, the central bank said in a notification Tuesday. The notification follows the central government's request to keep all branches of banks dealing with government receipts and payments open for transactions on Mar. 31, the last day of the financial year.
As per the list of bank holidays on the RBI's website, Mar. 31 is a holiday for banks on account of Id-Ul-Fitr. End
