MUMBAI - Trent Ltd.'s net profit for the quarter ended December surged over 36% to INR 4.69 billion from INR 3.44 billion a year ago. However, it fell short of analysts' expectations of INR 5.22 billion. Revenue for the quarter was higher at INR 45.35 billion, compared with INR 33.12 billion in the year-ago quarter.
