MUMBAI – LIC Housing Finance Ltd. expects 10-15% growth in disbursements in 2025-26 (Apr-Mar), the management of the company said in a post-earnings analyst call Monday. "For Q4 (Jan-Mar), the numbers (disbursements) would be around Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 (INR 200 billion to INR 250 billion), for all products put together", the management said.

The company's disbursements in the quarter ended December rose 2% on year to INR 154.75 billion. Total disbursements by the company in the nine months ended Dec. 31 were INR 448.67 billion, against INR 407.1 billion in the year-ago period, up 10%. The company announced its Oct-Dec earnings on Friday post market hours. At 1408 IST on Monday, shares of the company were down 4.2% at INR 560.20 on the National Stock Exchange.

The housing finance company is in the process of revamping its fee structure across products, which is expected to be effective from April. "We are in the process of changing the entire fee structure across all product categories and that work has already started," the management said.

The company expects the revamped fee structure to contribute more substantially to its revenue in the next few quarters. More detailed information will be shared in the next quarterly update, the management said. LIC Housing's net profit for the quarter ended December rose over 23% on year to INR 14.32 billion on improvement in asset quality and rise in total revenue from operations.

LIC Housing aims to increase its presence in the affordable housing segment. The management expects 10% of its loan book to come from this segment within the next two to three years. LIC Housing's loan portfolio rose 6% year-on-year to INR 2.99 trillion as of Dec. 31. The individual home loan segment, which accounts for a major part of the portfolio, grew 7% to INR 2.55 trillion. The company's project loan portfolio rose 2% on year to INR 87.76 billion as on Dec. 31.  End
