MUMBAI - NTPC Ltd.'s net profit for Oct-Dec rose 3% to INR 47.11 billion from INR 45.72 billion a year ago but fell short of analysts' expectations of INR 49.11 billion. The state-owned company's revenue for the quarter was INR 413.52 billion, up from INR 394.55 billion a year ago.
