CPI-AL inflation falls to 36-month low of 5.01% in Dec

NEW DELHI – India's annual inflation based on CPI for agricultural labourers fell to a 36-month low of 5.01% in December from 5.35% in November, according to data released by the labour ministry Thursday. The inflation rate was 7.71% in December 2023.
The overall index for agricultural labourers in December remained unchanged at 1320 from November.
The inflation based on CPI for rural labourers also fell to a 36-month low of 5.05% in December from 5.47% in November and 7.46% a year ago. The index was unchanged at 1331 in December from the previous month.
