IMD sees thunderstorms over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam till Friday

MUMBAI – A cyclonic circulation over east Bangladesh and the neighbouring regions in the lower tropospheric levels is likely to cause thunderstorms over parts of Arunachal Pradesh and northeast Assam till Friday, the India Meteorological Department said in a press release Thursday.
The weather bureau also said that isolated rainfall or snowfall is likely over the western Himalayan region on Thursday. Parts of west Uttar Pradesh and east Rajasthan may also receive rainfall on Thursday. No significant change in weather conditions are likely over any other parts of the country over the next 4–5 days, the weather bureau.
Cold wave conditions are very likely to continue over Himachal Pradesh till Friday. Dense to very dense fog is also likely to continue during the night and early morning hours in parts of east Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. The department has also issued an orange alert in east Uttar Pradesh for dense to very dense fog. End
