MUMBAI – Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd.'s net profit for the quarter ended December was INR 46.49 billion, up a whopping 37% from INR 33.97 billion a year ago. However, the net profit was lower than analysts' expectations of INR 49.29 billion.
