NEW DELHI – BYD India on Saturday introduced BYD SEALION 7 eSUV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The bookings for the fully electric sports utility vehicle have opened, and the promotional booking offer will be available to those who book till Feb. 17.

 

BYD SEALION 7 will be available in two variants--Performance and Premium. The BYD SEALION 7 Performance will give a range of 542 kilometres and the Premium can go 567 kilometres on a full charge, said Shrirang Joshi, National Sales Head, Electric Passenger Vehicle Business at BYD India. Both the variants will be available with an 82.56 kWh battery pack.

 

Under the promotional booking offer, customers can pay INR 70,000 as the booking amount and BYD will match it with an equal INR 70,000. Customers will also receive a complimentary 7 kW charger including installation. They will also get 7-year or 150,000 kilometres warranty on BYD's Low Voltage Battery. The company, however, did not reveal the price range of the vehicle.

 

BYD India also showcased Yangwang U8, which comes with capabilities like doing an all-terrain tank turn and float on water for up to 30 minutes. Currently, the company sells BYD ATTO 3 eSUV, the BYD eMAX7 eMPV, and the BYD SEAL in the domestic market.  End
