NEW DELHI - Outstanding deposits under the Foreign Currency Non-Resident (Banks) category rose to $32.04 billion at the end of November from $21.86 billion a year ago, according to provisional data released by the Reserve Bank of India on Friday. The deposits were up from $31.87 billion in October.
Overall, outstanding deposits by non-resident Indians were at $162.70 billion at the end of November, up 12.6% from a year ago. Deposits under the Non-Resident (External) Rupee Account at the end of November fell slightly to $100.67 billion from $100.87 billion a month ago, but rose from $96.80 billion a year ago. End
