NAFED invites expression of interest for rice export by Tuesday

MUMBAI – The National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India has invited expression of interest for empanelment of exporters of rice by Tuesday, it said in a notification. "NAFED intends to export rice to various countries, hence interested and eligible exporters may submit their empanelment documents and bids in the prescribed format…" it said.
NAFED shall constitute an evaluation committee to evaluate the application forms submitted by the applicants, the notification said. "Exports would be organised by NAFED at mutually agreed price," it specified.
Among the terms and conditions, NAFED said that the applicant must have had a minimum turnover of INR 1 billion 2023-24. End
