Equitas Small Finance Bk introduces new savings account slabs, effective Fri

MUMBAI – Equitas Small Finance Bank Ltd. has introduced new savings account slabs effective Friday, the lender informed exchanges.
After the revision, balances up to INR 100,000 will continue to earn an interest rate of 3%, while the extended slab for balances between INR 100,000 and INR 1 million will provide an interest rate of 5%. For balances above INR 1 million and up to INR 2.5 million, which is the other new slab introduced, will deliver an interest rate of 7% and, from 2.5 million to INR 10 million, the bank will offer an interest rate of 7.25%.
For balances above INR 10 million and up to INR 250 million, the bank will offer interest rates of 7.50%, while for that above INR 250 million, the interest rate remains unchanged at 7.80%.
The announcement was made post market hours. On Thursday, shares of the bank closed 2.1% higher at INR 69.05 on the National Stock Exchange. End
