NSE to introduce F&O contracts on Gland Pharma, five more stocks from Jan 31

MUMBAI – The National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. will introduce futures and options contracts on six more stocks from Jan. 31, according to a circular Tuesday. These six stocks are Castrol India Ltd., Gland Pharma Ltd., NBCC (India) Ltd., The Phoenix Mills Ltd., Solar Industries India Ltd., and Torrent Power Ltd.

 

However, the market lot and scheme of strikes for these securities will be informed through a separate circular on Jan. 30, the exchange said in the circular. Details of the quantity freeze for these securities will be available in the contract file, which would be applicable for trading on Jan. 31, NSE said.

 

On Tuesday, shares of Castrol India closed 0.5% higher at INR 195.83 on the NSE, while those of Gland Pharma ended 2.2% lower at INR 1,850.05. Meanwhile, shares of NBCC (India) closed 1.6% higher at INR 89.28, and shares of The Phoenix Mills closed 1.7% higher at INR 1,573.20. Further, shares of Solar Industries and Torrent Power closed at INR 9,690.10, up 2.2% and at INR 1,453.50, down 1.2%, respectively on the NSE.  End
