RBI central board reviews global, domestic economic situation and outlook

MUMBAI – The central board of directors of the Reserve Bank of India Friday reviewed the global and domestic economic environment and outlook, RBI said in a press release. It also discussed the activities of select central office departments and the draft report on Trend and Progress of Banking in India, 2023-24.
The meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of the newly appointed RBI governor, Sanjay Malhotra. Deputy Governors Michael Patra, M. Rajeshwar Rao, Swaminathan. J, and T. Rabi Sankar, along with other directors of the central board attended the meeting. Department of Financial Services Secretary Nagaraju Maddirala also attended the meeting. End
