CPI-AL inflation falls to 5.96% in Oct from 6.36% Sept

NEW DELHI – India's CPI inflation for agricultural labourers fell to 5.96% in October from a three-month high of 6.36% in September, according to data released by the labour ministry on Monday. CPI inflation for agricultural labourers was 7.08% in October 2023 and 5.96% in August as well, which was a 30-month low.
The overall index for agricultural labourers rose to 1315 in October from 1304 the previous month.
Inflation based on CPI for rural labourers fell to a 17-month low of 6.00% in October from September's three-month high of 6.39%. The index rose to 1326 in October from 1316 a month ago.
