NEW DELHI – Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das, who was admitted to a Chennai hospital for acidity, has been discharged from the hospital, a central bank spokesperson said. The governor is "doing fine now", the spokesperson added.
Das was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai on Tuesday for observation after he experienced acidity. Das has held the position of governor for the last six years. His current term as governor is due to end on Dec. 10. End
