Govt disburses INR 2.33 tln loans under PM Mudra plan in FY25 till Nov 1

NEW DELHI – The government disbursed loans worth INR 2.326 trillion under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana in the current financial year till Nov. 1, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman told the Lok Sabha today.
The total number of loan accounts under the government's flagship scheme in the same period was 24.7 million, Sitharaman said in a written reply in the Lower House of Parliament.
Launched in April 2015, the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana extends collateral-free institutional loans up to 2 mln rupees to unfunded micro and small business units for manufacturing, trading, services sector and also for agricultural activities. End
