NEW DELHI – Techjockey Infotech Pvt. Ltd. on Thursday told the Delhi bench of the National Company Law Tribunal that it will withdraw the insolvency petition against SpiceJet Ltd. as the airline has paid the due amount. The company said the case against the airline has been settled and the due amount was received on Wednesday. The tribunal will hear the case next on Dec. 3.

Techjockey Infotech, an online marketplace that provides information technology services, had said that SpiceJet had not paid it INR 10.46 million of dues. Techjockey Infotech said it had provided cloud services to the airline.

The dispute arose out of a 2021 agreement between the parties. Techjockey Infotech said it had given a demand notice to the airline for the payment of money in August. However, there was no reply from the airline. On Sept. 23, the tribunal issued a notice to the airline on Techjockey Infotech's petition.

At 1231 IST, the shares of SpiceJet traded 3.7% higher at INR 55.59 rupees on the BSE.  End
