MUMBAI - Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. reported lower-than-estimated net profit for the September quarter. India's largest passenger vehicle manufacturer reported a net profit of INR 30.69 billion in Jul-Sept against INR 37.17 billion a year ago. Analysts had expected the company to earn a net profit of INR 38.09 billion for Jul-Sept.
