MUMBAI – Some clients of brokerage HDFC Securities Ltd. faced intermittent problems in placing orders Thursday on the equity derivatives segment of the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd., the brokerage said in a post on social media platform X. Client orders on other trading segments, cash market of the NSE and BSE Ltd., BSE's equity derivatives, currency, and commodities worked properly, the brokerage said. "We are working together with our vendor (Tata Consultancy Services) to resolve the same," HDFC Securities, a subsidiary of HDFC Bank Ltd., said in the post at 1417 IST.
Some users, who claimed to be clients of HDFC Securities, posted on X that orders placed were not getting executed since the morning. One user with X account ID @Aviswamy2202 said in a post that his order got placed at 1119 IST but was not executed till 1430 IST. "Suddenly it got executed with a loss 27.5K (INR 27,500)," he said. The problem, apparently a glitch at the brokerage's end, persisted till the markets closed. End
