MUMBAI – Securities and Exchange Board of India Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch today said a single filing by listed companies on bourses will become a reality soon. Speaking at the Confederation of Indian Industry's 'Financing 3.0 Summit' in Mumbai today, Buch said this will help investors to receive information faster and ease the filing procedure for listed companies.
The SEBI chief also said the country's economic growth has to result in wealth creation for its citizens and the financial inclusion agenda becomes important. Buch said the recent minimum systematic investment planning application of 250 rupees by Aditya Birla Mutual Fund will also aid the financial inclusion as mutual fund investors from small cities and towns will be able to invest through the small-sized SIPs. Currently, mutual funds offer a minimum SIP size of 1,000-5,000 rupees. End
