NEW DELHI – The services trade surplus rose to $14.68 bln in July from $13.80 bln the previous month, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India today.

 

India's services exports rose 16.6% on year to $30.58 bln in July, while services imports also rose 15.7% on an annual basis to $15.90 bln in July. Services imports were up marginally from the previous month. Services imports were $15.02 bln in June. Services exports also rose from the previous month. Services exports were $28.82 bln in June.

 

The central bank releases provisional monthly data on India's services trade and this data may undergo revision when the Balance of Payments data is released on a quarterly basis. End
