NEW DELHI – The services trade surplus rose to $13.80 bln in June from $13.02 bln the previous month, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India today.
India's services exports rose 3.7% on year to $28.82 bln in June, the slowest annual growth in three months. However, services imports fell 3.8% on an annual basis to $15.02 bln in June, and were also down from $16.74 bln in May. Services imports have been falling month-on-month since April.
The central bank releases provisional monthly data on India's services trade and this data may undergo revision when the Balance of Payments data is released on a quarterly basis. End
