MUMBAI – BSE's systems have not been impacted by today's Microsoft IT outage, a spokesperson for the exchange said, adding that operations at the exchange were running normally.

Brokerage Nuvama Wealth's systems saw "a limited impact" from the Microsoft IT outage, a spokesperson said. "Our networks are built to minimise the effects of such outages on our ecosystem. We have deployed a software patch in our back office and settlement functions and reported the same to the exchanges," he said.

A stock exchange source told Informist that a few stockbrokers faced problems today due to one or more patches in their mobile trading applications being hit by the outage.

Earlier today, brokerage 5paisa Capital said its systems were hit by a global outage at Crowdstrike and Microsoft, which offered a cyber-security solution to it.

In a statement earlier today, the National Stock Exchange said that both it and its clearing subsidiary NSE Clearing were working normally, and were unaffected by the Microsoft IT outage.  End
