Oil marketing companies procured 846 million litres of ethanol in December for the ethanol supply year 2024-25 (Nov-Oct), according to the Petroleum Planning & Analysis Cell. During Nov-Dec, oil companies have bought 1.09 billion litres of ethanol, it said. In November, oil companies bought 245 million litres of the biofuel.
