NCDEX seeks bids to appoint market maker for Mumbai Rainfall Futures

MUMBAI – National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Ltd. has invited bids from market participants for the appointment of a designated market maker under a revised Liquidity Enhancement Scheme for the Mumbai Rainfall Futures Contract (RAINMUMBAI), according to a circular issued Wednesday.

 

The exchange said the existing Liquidity Enhancement Scheme for the contract will continue until Friday. A revised scheme along with the implementation date will be announced later.

 

NCDEX has invited applications for a designated market maker role by 1700 IST, Thursday. The exchange will appoint one designated market maker through a competitive bidding process. Bids will be evaluated according to the grading criteria specified in the circular. The successful bidder will continue as the designated market maker for as long as the scheme remains in force, subject to fulfilling all obligations under the Liquidity Enhancement Scheme, NCDEX said.

 

The exchange reserves the right to amend or discontinue the scheme with a 15-day prior notice.  End
